Hair and Makeup Contract


THIS MAKEUP & HAIR SERVICE CONTRACT is made and entered into as of May 15, 2025 by and between

and (makeup artist) Katelyn Laureano, whose business address is undisclosed until contract has been signed and completed. In consideration of the mutual covenants herein contained and, intending to be legally bound hereby, the Client and Makeup Artist agree as follows:

Additional Fees

  • Early Morning Fee $100 for each hour before 8am: ( billed in 30 minute blocks ) Total (one fee per hair artist team / one fee per makeup artist team)
  • Assistants Fee (additional stylist needed / $75 per extra stylist hired )
  • 6 Person Minimum Not Met Fee. $75 ( fee applies only when traveling to client)
  • Travel fee is $75 per stylist traveling up to a hour and will be calculated round trip from with Aesthetic Beauty Bar LLC’s Fremont, OH or West Chester, OH location.
  • Head artist: Katelyn Laureano Travel will be calculated from her home base salon in West Chester Ohio 45069 
  • Parking Fee Parking/ Hotel Valet Rate is covered by bride. Valet will be used for busier locations with difficult parking. Additional fees may apply (will be included in quote).

The amount is due in full one month prior to wedding date

1.) Makeup Artist/ Hairstylist’s obligation to give services hereunder is subject to the unavailability as a result of sickness, accidents, natural disasters and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control. In this case, the deposit less the cost of the trial will be refunded to the Client.

2.) LOCATION of the event. The makeup application(s) will take place at the following location:

3.) LATE ARRIVAL. An added fee of $25 per fifteen minutes late will be added to booked services total based on how late the client is. This includes if the client is on the premises but is still not ready to get her services done due to other engagements.

4.) PAYMENT. In full consideration for all services rendered by the Artist on location, the Client agrees to make the following payment in US funds to the Artist:

a) BOOKING FEE. Client will pay the total balance to the Artist as a cash or check payment at the consultation or if not getting a consultation, within that week of agreement. Your date will not be booked until a retainer is made for your wedding date. Your retainer is the travel fee/sales tax for the services rendered. The day of the wedding, remaining payments will be due individually to each stylist & payable cash, credit card, or Venmo. Using a credit card there will be a 3% processing fee added on to your final total.

b) THE BALANCE is payable to Katelyn Laureano (makeup artist), but if additional services are requested at the time of the event, proper adjustment of final balance will take place. When contract is signed you are obligated to pay the total number of services agreed upon.
c) GRATUITY APPRECIATED
d) HOURLY RATE: $75 per hour will be applied toward the final balance if touch-up services are needed after the initial application in 15 minute increments.
e) TRAVEL RATE: $0.75 per mile out of a 10 mile distance.

5.) CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations can be made up to 90 days before the wedding day without any extra charges. Your original booking fee is still non-refundable. If you cancel 30 days prior to your wedding day 100% of the total wedding date rate quote will be charged.

I,  have read through and understand all terms and details of this agreement and I have supplied all correct and required information.

6.) MISCELLANEOUS. Artist cannot guarantee or be held accountable for any allergic reactions, or any complications from the makeup or the application. Any photos taken by Artist on the day of the wedding can be used for her own promotional use on website or on fliers unless otherwise agreed upon prior to wedding date.
